Childcare

The Chamber Community Foundation works with our local childcare providers to recruit, retain, improve, and expand local quality care options.

Education

The Chamber Community Foundation works with our local education leaders to support efforts in leadership training, exposure to local careers, and literacy initiatives. Currently, the Foundation helps recruit volunteers for local literacy projects: Read to Lead and Literacy in Laurens.

The Foundation is proud to announce that Laurens County will be a 2025-2025 FLEX Community. The Foundational Leadership and Entrepreneurship Experience (FLEX) is an entrepreneurship program for any Laurens County high school student. Students create and run their own businesses while participating in local workshops and mentorship, culminating in a Shark Tank style business pitch competition. Our local winner will proceed to the state competition, where the state winner receives $10,000 cash!

Workforce

The Foundation is proud to present Aim 2 Summit, A one-day interactive and educational exposition featuring leaders in AI, automation, innovation, manufacturing, & mechatronics. Save the Date!
